White House Space Weather Summit

I worked on the White House Space Weather Summit, which convened leaders from the Subcommittee on Space Weather Operations, Research, and Mitigation (SWORM), the congressionally mandated FACA advisory group—the Space Weather Advisory Group (SWAG)—and a broad constituency, including esteemed panelists, for the release of the SWAG report, Survey of User-Needs for Space Weather. It was an honor to participate in this event and to be reappointed as chair of SWAG for another three years. I’m excited to collaborate with the new members and to continue advancing our understanding of space weather science while strengthening resilience to space weather events.
